Those directions are tailored exactly for the kind of monocular you've purchased. Watch for fingerprints. Fingerprints can make it hard for you to use the monocular quickly and effectively. Wipe the lens with a soft, dry cloth designed for cleaning binoculars, monoculars or even glasses. Avoid using your shirt or another cloth, as this could scratch the lens. Spray a few drops of photographic lens cleaner, Windex or even rubbing alcohol onto the cloth and use it to clean your monocular if you can't get the fingerprints off. Keep the lens cap on when it's not in use to prevent scratches to the lens. Store your monocular in a proper case designed for the monocular. Keep it in a cool, dry place to avoid any damage. Take your monocular to a photography store or contact the place you purchased it from if you need a professional to clean the monocular or if there's dirt or dust you can't reach. focus review. The focus is very difficult to attain and maintain when magnification exceeds 20. At the lower settings of about 10 to 20x it works great.translate

Okay for what it is. This product is about what I expected for the price. The function seems fine, but a zoom of 10-30 power really requires a lot of light to see.translate

Small size ok optics. I bought this to throw in my glovebox to view deer from the road. Seems good if not using any of the zoom magnification, becomes blurry if zoomed over 10x. Over all nice simple optics.translate

Works Well. I own several monoculars and this is by far the best. The image quality is very good for a product of this size. The small field of view is not great for sporting events where the subjects are in motion, but it's a great item for viewing still and slow moving objects. The minimal weight and small size make it easy to take along on almost any outdoor activity. I particularly like the tripod mounting capability. I can screw it into the camera mount on my walking pole for a stable view at 7X.translate
