Some initial testing. Looks a useful driver and possibly the best for that voltage range. I have only tested 1, but it did not overdrive a Cree Q5 at 1.2 amps, but 1 amp which is just right Vin = 8.4 volts, 1 amp out Vin = 7.4 volts, 700 mA SKU...translate
